The Senior Business Consultant leads implementations within Quantios to ensure customers realise value, adopt the product confidently, and transition cleanly into Application support. The role shapes requirements into a standard-first solution design, provides hands-on configuration oversight where needed, and drives quality through testing, go-live readiness, and adoption.

This is a client-facing role that partners closely with Project Management, Customer Success, Technical Consultants, Delivery Excellence, Product and Application Support. The Senior Business Consultant also coaches Business Consultants and contributes reusable assets, patterns and continuous improvement to help the consultancy practice scale.

Job Requirements:

Leadership and governance

* Own end-to-end delivery outcomes, including scope clarity, quality gates and handover readiness.
* Drive decision-making with business stakeholders: define options, recommend best-fit approaches, and secure timely decisions with a clear audit trail.
* Partner with the Project Manager on delivery planning, RAID, change control, and governance; escalate early with practical options and impacts.
* Coach and quality-assure the work of Business Consultants through peer review, standards enforcement and hands-on support during critical phases.

Discovery and Requirements

* Lead complex workshops and shape ambiguous stakeholder inputs into structured, traceable requirements and a target operating model.
* Translate business outcomes into configuration approach across QCore; using standard-first principles; document key design decisions, assumptions and constraints.
* Anticipate downstream impacts (data, reporting, controls, compliance, operating model) and address them within the workstream design.

Design and Configuration

* Configure solution areas where appropriate and review/approve configuration completed by others against requirements, standards and product best practice.
* Identify product capability gaps and raise structured, evidence-based feedback to Product, including business impact.

Testing and Go-Live Readiness

* Define UAT strategy for the workstream: acceptance criteria and entry/exit criteria approach.
* Coordinate with Technical Consultants and Support where needed.
* Guide data migration validation and reconciliation approaches.
* Own go-live readiness for the workstream: contribute to cutover runbook, readiness checklist, hypercare plan and success criteria.

Training, and Handover

* Define UAT strategy for the workstream: acceptance criteria, test scenarios, entry/exit criteria and defect triage approach.
* Lead issue resolution for complex defects and root-cause analysis; coordinate with Technical Consultants and Support where needed.
* Guide data migration validation and reconciliation approaches; ensure anomalies are investigated and outcomes documented.
* Own go-live readiness for the workstream: contribute to cutover runbook, readiness checklist, post go-live plan and success criteria.

Quality, Standards, and Contribution to Scale

* Design and deliver standard delivery playbooks, checklists, and templates; raise improvement suggestions through the appropriate channel.
* Apply change control discipline: draft impact assessments, assumptions and options for review and approval.
* Participate in peer reviews and retrospectives; contribute lessons learned to the knowledge base.
* Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, minimum artefact standards and repeatable ways of working.

Stakeholder management and professional practice

* Build credibility with customers through preparation, clarity and follow-through.
* Manage expectations professionally.
* Work collaboratively across internal teams, escalating appropriately and supporting a “one team” global delivery culture.

Commercial and pre-sales support

* Support chargeable scoping and discovery activities: clarify scope, assumptions, risks, approach and effort estimates.
* Contribute to delivery predictability and utilisation outcomes by planning work realistically and managing scope and rework.
* Surface expansion opportunities and optimisation improvements where evidence supports customer value.

Job Requirements:

* 6+ years' experience in functional consulting, business analysis, finance, or ERP/SaaS implementations; or equivalent senior operational experience in Trust/Corporate Services/Financial Services.
* Demonstrated experience leading functional workstreams end-to-end, producing client-facing artefacts.
* Strong domain and controls mindset in regulated environments, with the ability to translate compliance expectations into practical operating processes and system configuration.
* Advanced analytical ability: turns complex inputs into structured requirements.
* Confident facilitator and communicator with senior stakeholders; able to challenge constructively and manage expectations professionally.
* High standards for confidentiality, data security and audit-ready documentation.
