CEO | Professional Recruiter at JL Connects We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Lines Account Manager for our client located near Middleton, MA. This position involves servicing an existing book of business and supporting our clients with various insurance needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Commercial Lines insurance and a passion for delivering excellent customer service while maintaining strong relationships with both clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on a daily basis, providing top-tier customer service and building lasting relationships.
Collect client information, complete ACORDs, and assist with marketing, quoting, and processing new commercial insurance policies.
Handle the renewal marketing and processing, including preparing renewal letters, summaries of insurance, and managing the renewal process from start to finish.
Process endorsements and ensure accounts are managed effectively. Cross-sell and round accounts to maximize business opportunities.
Advise clients on appropriate coverage based on their needs, ensuring proper protection and compliance.
Assist clients with billing inquiries, process claims, and manage certificates of insurance.
Maintain accurate and organized client files and ensure all activities are documented in the AMS (Agency Management System). Follow agency procedures and adhere to all standards, guidelines, and timelines.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines, managing small to medium-sized accounts.
Current Property and Casualty (P&C) license required.
Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems is a plus.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships.
