π― Role Overview
Weβre looking for a proactive and experienced SHEQ Manager to lead our safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives across the UK. This is a pivotal role ensuring compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001), while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
π§ Key Responsibilities
* π€ Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to embed SHEQ priorities across all projects.
* β οΈ Risk Assessments: Develop and implement robust risk assessments for our facility and sites.
* π Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular audits, identify non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.
* π Incident Investigation: Lead investigations and implement preventative measures.
* π Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UK legislation and ISO standards.
* π Training & Development: Deliver SHEQ training and promote a safety-first culture.
* π Documentation & Reporting: Maintain audit-ready records and reports.
* π± Promoting SHEQ Culture: Champion safety, sustainability, and quality across the business.
* π§Ύ Tender Support: Assist with SHEQ documentation for tenders and pre-qualifications.
π Qualifications & Experience
Essential:

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 H&S qualification)
β
SHEQ leadership experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing
β
In-depth UK legislation knowledge (H&S at Work Act, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, CDM)
β
Proficiency with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001
β
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
β
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel
Desirable:
π CMIOSH or IIRSM membership
π Multi-site SHEQ leadership experience
π Understanding of BS EN 1090, UKCA/CE Marking
π Familiarity with mechanical handling systems
