Overview The People Operations Advisor role supports the business with first line HR queries and will provide a consistently great customer experience in all employee relations issues. The team is key to supporting the business in all employee relations issues, major projects and initiatives, delivering first class advisory services and driving change. Key Stakeholders This role will report into a People Operations Manager. The role sits within the People Operations Team, which consists of People Operations Advisors, Senior People Operations Advisors and People Partners. This team is based across the UK in our key offices. Key Accountabilities Provide a professional advisory and administrative service to business colleagues across a broad range of HR queries and processes. Manage stakeholder queries via phone and email and our case management system, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner to meet SLAs and customer service principle. Support and provide advice on employee relation cases, such as sickness absence, performance management, and the Company’s people policy and procedures. Use initiative to effectively and efficiently manage individual workload within the case management system: Assist projects as required. Signpost employees to other HR service lines where appropriate. Support our offshore HR team with HR services, policies and processes. Build excellent working relationships with HR teams, employees and key stakeholders in both the UK and Bangalore. Support case management, producing correspondence, handling customer queries, monitoring reports and documentation. Support a variety of improvement and service projects. Ensure the management of end-to-end processes in line with customer needs whilst maintaining legal and compliance requirements. Requirements Ability to work collaboratively. Customer focus with a drive to deliver. Generalist HR advisory experience across a range of HR activities/processes (not mandatory). Ability to listen actively, ask probing questions and analyse requirements. Ability to apply judgement to resolve individual cases. Ability to identify and address or escalate risk. Persuasion and influencing skills. Outstanding customer focus and the ability to manage customer requirements through a partnership approach.
