Traffic Engineer
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Engineer to join our team based in our London office! Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe. This is a full-time permanent role with hybrid working, requiring 2 – 3 days in the office per week.
What you will be doing:
* Providing technical support across a range of consultancy commissions
* Producing high-quality technical reports and designs in accordance with industry standards
* Conducting on-site visits to gather essential data and assets
* Analyzing survey data related to traffic patterns, pedestrian activity, public transport usage, and more
* Ensuring project files are up-to-date and compliant with quality assurance standards
* Collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines to broaden your skills and knowledge base
What we are looking for:
* A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering
* Membership or working towards membership of a professional institution
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in traffic engineering or related field
* Strong understanding of highways and traffic engineering principles
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
* Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as TMA 2004 and DMRB
