Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining the highest quality and presentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Uphold the principles of hospitality by ensuring that all dishes meet guest expectations.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Line Chef or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment while also exhibiting leadership qualities.
* Experience in supervising or managing kitchen staff is advantageous.
* A passion for cooking and the hospitality industry, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
