Job Description
Reporting into our Test Manager you will:
* Develop and execute test strategies (manual and automation) aligned with business and technical requirements.
* Provide technical guidance to other SDET's in the team.
* Perform automation code review with peers.
* Promote implementation of automation frameworks and best practices across the team.
* Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement for QA practices.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product owners to ensure quality is embedded from design to delivery.
* Manage quality metrics, report test results, and contribute to risk assessments.
* Guide root cause analysis for critical issues and lead preventive measures.
* Influence shift-left testing.
Qualifications
* Experience in a quality engineering test automation role for the software systems
* Experience improving quality and delivering high-quality software.
* Strong-first approaches, security best practices, and shift-left testing.
* Excellent collaboration skills to work with developers, product owners, architects and business stakeholders
o Experience with QA methodologies, Agile testing, and SDLC practices.
o API testing experience using tools like Postman, Bruno.
o Automation frameworks development expertise with BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber.
o Scripting/programming skills Python language.
o CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Bamboo.
o Proficiency in cloud-based testing (AWS preferred) including services like S3, Step Function,
* Lambda, Event Bridge, Glue, Batch.
o Database/SQL testing, including data validation and backend verification.
o Performance testing exposure using tools like Locust, Gatling or Locust.
o Familiarity with version control tools like Git
o
o Useful skills:
o Experience with Big Data testing.
o Exposure to AI/ML model testing and validation.
o Knowledge of Observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk).
o Experience with security testing tools.
