You will report into the Group Accounting Manager and be a key business partner to a range of central teams, bringing clarity to performance, enabling effective forecasting, and supporting strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis. Responsibilities will include:
* Closing the Central month end, including recharges, prepayments and accruals
* Reviewing, investigating and explaining monthly performance analytics and reports for Central costs
* Business partnering with central function teams to understand, comment on and report financial performance accurately
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Support accounting and reporting teams with financial information
* Support/lead one-off and recurring projects and analysis as required by the business
The ideal candidate will be:
* CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified/part-qualified accountant, ideally with at least two years’ industry experience
* Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
* IT Literate including Excel and ERP systems
* Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to analyse and summarise complex information
