Cyber and Fraud account for nearly half of all reported crime, costing the UK economy around 27 billion GBP a year. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and high-performing team responding to the threat cybercrime poses to our communities. We are a regional Cyber-Crime Unit covering Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight, with this role primarily based in Surrey and Sussex. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can commit at least 10 hours a month.
Cyber Crime Volunteers are expected to have foundational knowledge of cyber security and online safety. The most critical skills for this role are communication skills and the ability to present to audiences. You will work alongside police officers and staff to deliver high-quality presentations to community groups, businesses, schools, and more, as well as respond to victims of crime.
