Our client, a leading Fabrication Specialist based in Sandbach, Cheshire, is looking to recruit a Stores Operative to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities: Picking and sorting steel parts in a busy fabrication environment. Organising and managing stock within the stores area. Operating a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) for material handling. Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed within the warehouse. Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting in stock audits. Requirements: FLT Reach and Counterbalance certificate is a must. Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, preferably in a fabrication environment. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Shift Patterns: AM Shift: Mon to Thurs: 0600-1400, Fri: 0600-1200. PM Shift: Mon to Thurs: 1400-2200, Fri 1200-1800. Pay & Benefits: Full-time, permanent position. Assignment rate for AM Shift is £13.84ph. Assignment rate for PM Shift is £15.38ph.
