About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in checking, repairing and installing site services, machinery and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and experience requirements
A formal electrical qualification, BS7671 preferred
Experience within a similar role that includes both electrical and mechanical responsibilities
Enjoys multi-tasking - the ability to successfully manage a varied workload
Knowledge / experience of working with PLC controls, analysing faults and providing solutions.
Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
Proven problem-solving skills
An understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings and principles
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-skilled team of varying levels of technical experience.
Person Specification
Successful candidates will have the passion and pride to ensure all machinery on site operates to a level to ensure work is completed on time, right first time, along with the ability to work well as a team and to promote collaborative working across the site. A proactive approach is essential to all aspects of the role, particularly with resolving problems and continuous improvement.
Hours of work; 39 hours per week, 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday with unpaid lunch break pm and 7.30am-12.30pm Friday
Salary: dependant on experience
