Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Maldon for a SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Line Manager. Responsibilities would include overseeing daily production and processes on the SMT line, managing a team to optimise efficiency, training to ensure our high quality standards are always adhered to, and identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement. The role also involves monitoring and analyzing production data, troubleshooting production problems and assisting with Root Cause analysis on any quality issues.
Qualifications
* Deep Knowledge of SMT processes and equipment, ranging from Solder Printing, to Pick&place to reflow Ovens. Knowledge of Europlacer Pick&place machines is highly preferable.
* Strong People Management and Training skills to effectively lead and develop a team.
* Proficient in Operations Management to oversee and optimize the SMT production line and workflows.
* Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills to facilitate teamwork, problem-solving, and process improvements.
* A commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced agile environment.
