Overview
Local Authority in Warwickshire are looking to appoint a Lead Tenancy Officer (Independent Living) to strengthen their Housing Services team within the Government Public Sector.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong housing management experience to lead on tenancy enforcement, support tenancy sustainment, and supervise a small team.
Key details: Location: Warwickshire; 3 days in office; 37 hpw; £21.14–£27.84 per hour (Umbrella); Inside IR35; Initial 3 months, with possible extension.
Responsibilities
* Handle tenancy enforcement, including representing the authority in court.
* Review tenancies at risk of eviction and advise on the best course of action to sustain them.
* Supervise and support Housing Officers (Independent Living).
* Handle high-risk anti-social behaviour and tenancy breach cases.
* Work with partner agencies to help residents maintain their tenancies and communities thrive.
What they're looking for
* Solid background in housing management and tenancy enforcement.
* Experience supervising staff.
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience when handling challenging situations.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
