A vacancy has arisen for an Appointments Co-Ordinator within the Paediatric Audiology service support the waiting list management The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and self motivated and able to work well under pressure showing initiative and resilience. This is an exciting opportunity for a self motivated and enthusiastic person to take on a challenging and sometimes pressurised role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience of working within the NHS and with the public is desirable. You should have a polite, friendly manner, and be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information professionally. If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a standard/enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 month. As this vacancy is within the division of Women’s and Children’s, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service. The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust.
