Job Purpose To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the school, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, excellent communication with parents/carers and staff, and compliance with statutory and school policies. Key Responsibilities General Administration * Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff; deal with enquiries promptly and professionally. * Manage incoming calls, emails and correspondence. * Maintain and update school records, databases and filing systems (including SIMS/Arbor or other MIS). * Prepare letters, reports, newsletters and other communications for parents and staff. Attendance & Pupil Records * Record, monitor and report on pupil attendance and punctuality. * Maintain accurate pupil records, including admissions, leavers, and safeguarding information. * Assist with school census returns and statutory data submissions. Finance & HR (if applicable) * Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in line with school financial procedures. * Assist with payroll information, staff absence records, and recruitment paperwork.
