You work on the design of some of the most exciting construction projects in the UK and worldwide.Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will work on projects across all sectors including Education, Healthcare, Critical Systems, Industrial, Residential and Retail.As part of your Summer Placement, you will assist on detailed geotechnical calculations and analysis, prepare site investigations and risk assessments, and formulate geotechnical designs (shallow strips\/pads, piled foundations, slope stability, retaining structures), specification and procurement.The SkillsIndividuals who are interested in the Summer Placement opportunities will need to be:On track to achieve a 2:1 or aboveWorking towards a degree in Geotechnical Engineering or similarPreferably undertaking your penultimate year of studyHave a passion for improving the built environmentBe interested in design and sustainable design principlesPlease only apply to one Early Careers role at Cundall at a time.
