Job Overview
A tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor/Senior QS to support a busy and established highways framework on an ongoing rolling-contract basis.
This is a long-term opportunity within a supportive, collaborative commercial team, offering flexibility, hybrid working and a strong pipeline of work.
Role will include:
* Commercial management across highways framework projects.
* Applications, valuations, variations and final accounts.
* Subcontract procurement and commercial management.
* Cost reporting and commercial support across live schemes.
* Working closely with an experienced and approachable team.
Requirements:
* Proven contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience.
* Strong Highways experience essential.
* Experience working with schedule of rates and remeasurement.
* Familiarity with the specification for Highways Works and Method of Measurement for Highway Work ("Black Book")
* HNC, BSc or equivalent Quantity Surveying qualification.
* Able to work autonomously within a live framework environment.
