Job Description
Interim Housing Manager - Manchester- Property and Housing- Effectively manage the day-to-day operations within the operational area ensuring that all services aredelivered in accordance with Group policies, procedures and service standards.- In accordance with the Group's procedures, be responsible for making all decisions on tenancy enforcementactions arising from community safety issues, rent arrears or breaches in tenancy conditions- Work in partnership to ensure anti-social behaviour is managed effectively and safely- Work in partnership to ensure properties are let appropriately and within target times- Ensure that rental income is collected in line with policy and that appropriate referrals are made to helpcustomers sustain their tenancies- Oversee all aspects of tenancy management- Monitor and assess the performance of operational team members to ensure a consistent approach in all areas- Effectively managing performance, leave, sickness and any work related issues in accordance with HR policiesand procedures.- Recruit, support and develop staff to ensure we attract and retain the most able people
The Successful Applicant
Interim Housing Manager - Manchester- Property and Housing- Knowledge and experience of issues relating to social housing- Knowledge and experience of compliance and regulatory and legislative requirements- Knowledge of the main areas of housing management: allocations, voids, community safety, income collection, independent living, and tenancy management
