Event Management Specialist (12 month Contract - Maternity Cover)
We're partnering with a leading global financial markets company to find an Event Management Specialist to join their International Events Team. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office per week, the office is based in the City.
What you'll do:
* Plan and deliver world-class corporate events and conferences, both in-person and virtually, across international markets
* Manage multi-currency budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure events are delivered on time and within budget
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative teams to develop marketing campaigns and branded assets
* Track and measure event success, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
* Maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients, ensuring brand standards are consistently applied
* Conduct research for venues, event concepts, and best practices to elevate the attendee experience
What we're looking for:
* 3+ years' experience in corporate financial services event management
* Strong budget management and commercial negotiation skills
* Experience with event management and marketing platforms (e.g., Cvent, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Willingness to travel for site inspections and onsite event support
