Candidates must have strong experience delivering FP&A services within the energy sector or other capital-intensive business with a combination of operational cash-generating assets and assets under development. This is a critical hire at an exciting stage of growth, with new investment expected this year and an ambitious roadmap to deliver significant GW of operational capacity in the next 5-6 years. You will work directly with the CFO and Executive Team, providing insight that drives performance, supports investor reporting, and enables strategic decision-making across a complex portfolio of onshore wind, solar, and battery projects. Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the FP&A function and be responsible for delivering best-in-class financial planning, analysis, and insight across the business. Responsibilities

Partner with Commercial, Development, Construction and Asset Management teams to challenge assumptions and improve planning accuracy. Enhancing FP&A processes, models, systems, and reporting capabilities to establish a best-in-class function. Overseeing consolidated financial models and ensuring strong governance and financial discipline. What We’re Looking For
A commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment with a strong background in FP&A or commercial finance within the renewable energy sector, with exposure to operating assets and development assets. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support executive decision-making and to deal directly with external investors and other external stakeholders. Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability; proficient with Excel and data interrogation tools such as PowerBI, DataRails or equivalents. Ideally full professional membership of ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent; CFA candidates would also be considered. Next Steps
