UX Researcher, 5 months, London/Hybrid, £500/day (Inside IR3) Our client, a leading digital agency are currently looking to hire a UX Researcher for one of their health care clients. As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in uncovering deep insights about their users' jobs to be done, pains, and gains-within the context of their real-world environments. You will lead and conduct qualitative and quantitative research with consumers, customers, experts, and internal employees. Your work will directly inform product and experience decisions, ensuring they are grounded in evidence and centred on the end-user. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute end-to-end user research using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods. Conduct interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, surveys, and diary studies with internal and external users. Synthesise research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product strategy, design decisions, and prioritisation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure research is embedded throughout the product development lifecycle. Champion the voice of the user and advocate for user-centred design across the product teams. Identify and mitigate bias in research design and analysis, ensuring rigour and reliability in findings. Communicate insights through compelling storytelling, visualisation, and presentations tailored to different audiences. Maintain and evolve research operations, including participant recruitment, consent, and data management. Support the development of research maturity across the organisation by sharing best practices. Appoint appropriate third parties, where needed, to support in designing / conducting research and/or development of insights and recommendations * Main point of contact with CBIA, our internal market research and analytics team, ensuring we remain compliant to CBIA operating model, and knowledge share appropriately. Support teams to set up evaluative research / product experience measurement to track end user experience and business performance against our objectives. Qualifications and Skills Design Thinking: Knowledge and experience in Design Thinking principles and practices User Research Expertise: Proven experience in planning and conducting user research across the product lifecycle using a variety of methods, both qualitative and quantitative. Bias Mitigation: Skilled in designing research that minimises bias and surfaces root causes of user behaviour and pain points. Analytical Thinking: Ability to distil complex data into clear insights and identify the three most important things teams need to know to make decisions. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings in a clear and impactful way. Business Acumen: Understanding of how user insights connect to business goals and product strategy. Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with user research tools such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, GA4 or similar.
