Air Conditioning Engineer - Glasgow/Edinburgh - Salary up to £45,000 DOE
CBW are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established specialist, forward-thinking Air Conditioning contractor operating across Scotlands Central Belt. This is a mobile role supporting a diverse portfolio of end-user clients, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and fault resolution on air conditioning systems.
You will work directly with end-user clients across a range of sectors, including:
* Hospitality
* Retail
* Pharmaceutical
* Commercial environments and specialist facilities
* Covering predominantly the Central Belt of Scotland with occasional travel further North
Key Responsibilities:
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
* Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
* Accurate fault finding, diagnostics, and repair
* Striving for first-time fix wherever possible
* Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal support teams
Qualifications & Experience (Essential):
* F-Gas Category 1 certification
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working as a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
* Strong PPM and fault-finding experience across commercial systems
* Full UK driving licence
Salary & Package:
* Salary up to £45,000 DOE
* On-call rota: Approximately every 6 weeks (can be less)
* Overtime - Saturday: Time and a half, Sunday: Double time
* Paid travel time starts after 20 miles from the office
