R13 Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, commercially driven business in their search for a Business Development Manager to join their Norwich-based team, scaling a new market disruptor in the Ecommerce world. This role combines all key elements in the BD process, from outreach to pitch to onboarding to analysis to relationship development and management. You’ll touch on and utilise online and traditional marketing campaigns, so any exposure in this arena will give you a strong foothold to be able to make fast impact and achieve results.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with flexible hybrid working (3 days from home post initial training). £30,000 – £35,000 DOE + uncapped commission earnings.

The Day to Day
* Proactively generating new business opportunities across a national corporate client base.
* Building and managing a strong pipeline through LinkedIn, email outreach and direct engagement.
* Leading sales conversations, pitching solutions and closing deals.
* Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract agreement and onboarding, plus ongoing relationship management.
* Developing long-term commercial relationships to maximise account value.
* Reviewing results and identifying opportunities to optimise and grow revenue.
* Continuously refining your approach based on market feedback and performance data.
You Will Have / Be
* Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or partnerships role.
* A track record of winning new business and hitting targets.
* Confident, persuasive and commercially astute.
* Resilient and comfortable working through longer sales cycles.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to generate your own opportunities.
* Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
* Able to manage your own pipeline and prioritise effectively.
