Role Overview The XYZ CNC Machinist will be responsible for machining one-off and small batch components for plant equipment, it will not suit someone looking to do just volume work. the work carried out is precise and a lot of one offs. working from engineering drawings and internal specifications. This role requires expertise in operating XYZ lathes and milling machines, as well as programming CNC machinery. the role will also involve welding and working on other large machines linked to engineering Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines. Program CNC machinery to meet precise specifications. Machine components to high standards, ensuring accuracy and quality. Interpret technical drawings and standards. Conduct batch inspections at regular intervals as defined in the SOP. Select and set the appropriate tools for each job.
