About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join a successful and growing business with an annual turnover in excess of £250 million. You will become part of the in‑house design team within the marketing department, supporting the Graphic Design Manager and the wider team in producing creative content across the Wernick Group's companies, products and services. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your design career within a fast‑paced commercial environment, working on a wide variety of print and digital projects while building your skills across multiple areas of design and marketing.
Responsibilities
* Produce adverts, leaflets and brochures
* Catalogue and professional tender documents
* Produce imagery for the company website and intranet
* Support the updating of company social media channels
* Email and printed mail shots
* Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions
* Edit photos and manage photo libraries
* Create social‑media‑specific graphics and video
* Assist the Graphic Design team with current and upcoming jobs
* Support the Marketing Department in day‑to‑day activities
Qualifications
* A graphic‑design‑related degree or proven skills in the field
* Creative individual with the ability to manage customers' expectations
* Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite software
* Competent in Microsoft Office
* Ability to edit video and create animations is a distinct advantage
* Team player with strong organisational skills
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
