Component Process & Repair Limited based in Bognor Regis West Sussex is a specialist gas turbine component repair facility.

The Role:
\n
The company is currently seeking an Engineering Manager who will report directly to the Managing Director and be a vital member of the management team. They will provide inspirational leadership to the engineering organisation to strengthen business technical capability and support through the development and motivation of the engineering team using best practice, recognised methods, tools and techniques. The Engineering Manager will oversee and be responsible for the management of engineering labour, policies, product and process development incorporating safety and quality compliance to meet business requirements and customer expectations. They will be expected to manage and meet agreed work schedule timescales to achieve required deadlines.

Responsibilities but not limited to:
\n
\n
* Act as the company’s technical representative
\n
* Responsible for monthly and annual work schedule attainment
\n
* Ability to inspire, lead and develop the Engineering team
\n
* Liaise with customers to provide technical support and input on current projects
\n
* Organise Engineering work to meet the daily, weekly, monthly attainment plans
\n
* Responsible for Engineering KPI’s to ensure targets are achieved, including those related to staff development and continuous improvement
\n
* Represent Engineering for 3rd Party and internal audits
\n
* Act as the nominated Engineering Manager for CAA and FAA Maintenance Organisation Approval
\n
* Responsible for all expenditure within agreed budgets
\n
* Ability to manage, mentor and develop Engineering staff.
\n
* Ensure all Engineering activities are compliant with customer, business and regulatory requirements
\n
* Responsible for ensuring Engineering Staff comply with all Health and Safety Systems and Controls.
\n

* Excellent demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and provide direction
\n
* Engineering experience within a similar work environment
\n
* Practical, hand-on knowledge and ability
\n
* Ability to create a good plan and determination to accomplish goals
\n
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
\n
* Good data analysis, planning and organisational skills
\n
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
\n
* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering management or a related field.
\n
* Extensive training in conflict management, business negotiation and business applications.
\n
\n
The Candidate:
\n
\n
* Ideally will have worked and managed within a Gas Turbine Repair environment, although experience as an Engineering Manager in Manufacturing / Engineering environment will be considered.
\n
* Ability to improve our engineering practices, processes, tools and techniques
\n
* Proven track record to meet challenging timescales whilst maintaining quality and customer expectations
\n
* Project planning experience
\n
* Commercially aware with a proficient level of financial controls
\n
* Experience in interfacing with direct and end customers
\n
\n
