Our contract catering client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join theirfinance team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and driving continuous improvement across our finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyse monthly management accounts
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insight into financial performance.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Work with operational teams to provide financial support and guidance.
Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and business initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
Strong experience in management accounting
Excellent knowledge of balance sheet preparation and reconciliation.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
