Requirement: Urgent Supporting Busy Production Periods
Overview
We are seeking an Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide engineering support across a fast-paced Food/FMCG manufacturing site during peak operational demand.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
* Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, control panels and automation equipment
* Support mechanical maintenance tasks as required
* Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
* Complete maintenance records, inspections and engineering documentation
* Work to site H&S standards, safe isolation procedures, and engineering compliance
* Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of machinery where needed
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within Food, Beverage, or FMCG manufacturing
* Strong electrical bias with mechanical competency
* Confident fault finding on industrial equipment and control systems
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
* Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of safe working practices and permit-to-work systems
* Immediate availability preferred due to urgent workload requirements
