Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and culinary arts, with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to food safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, while fostering a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate must be able to work with gastro pub classic dishes as well as international dishes.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective team management and collaboration.
* Oversee food production processes, maintaining quality control and consistency in all dishes.
* Lead the food preparation process, creating innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting professional development and culinary skills.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
* Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.

* Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong background in food production with extensive culinary experience.
