Job Summary
Were looking for a Community Development Co-Ordinator to join the team. You will support the direct delivery of our community services that supports male survivors to access connection and peer support activities.
Youll play a key role in supporting clients, either through facilitating our core groups like builders yard, drop ins etc. Community development team also provide check ins for clients to keep them engaged and connected with the organisation. The team also supports one off project where required.
Main duties of the job
Manage and support the volunteer workforce.
Support the development of community-based interventions.
Deliver quality-assured, therapeutic-based, group and community support services.
Accurately record group and community support interventions.
Schedule and liaise with survivors and their supporters to access appointments at We are Survivors.
About Us
We Are Survivors, is a survivor focused voluntary sector organisation that aims to create and facilitate safe spaces for male (including trans and non-binary individuals) survivors of sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation across Greater Manchester providing to access quality assured support.
