SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the BL1 area of Bolton, starting in September 2026.
This is a full-time role for the entire academic year, working across Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
The Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans
* Support children with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
* Adapt learning activities to suit individual learning styles
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)
* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
