Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer for borehole drilling, installation of a groundwater monitoring well and soil sampling analysis. We have planning consent for a two storey house (including basement) for a new build residential house in Enfield, London.
I do have a qualified scientist who can complete the field data and engineering analysis report if neccessary.
The geotechnical scope of works will be designed with the primary aim of assessing whether shallow foundations (i.e. conventional strip, mass fill, pad or raft foundations) are likely to be suitable for the proposed development. If it becomes apparent early on in the investigation that shallow foundations are unlikely to be suitable, then the depth of the borehole will provide information to aid the design of pile foundations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the project designing, analysing, and managing the geotechnical investigations and systems, .
