SALARY: £27,00 – £32,000
WORKING 4 DAYS A WEEK

About the Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Head Chef in delivering a high standard of food during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing kitchen — perfect for someone who thrives on quality, teamwork, and consistency.
Responsibilities
* Directs food preparation and collaborates with Head Chef
* Helps in the design of food menu
* Produces high quality dishes, including both design and taste
* Oversees and supervises kitchen staff
* Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies
* Ensures the food is top quality and that the kitchen is an EHO standard of 5
* Keeps stations and cleans as they go, and complies with food safety standards
* Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance
* Prepares food to the Head Chef’s standards
* Trains new employees
* Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment
* Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen
Qualifications
* Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients and procedures
* Management skills
* Familiarity with industry’s best practices
* Leadership
* Creativity
* Time-management skills
* Ability to handle pressure
Experience
* Sous chef experience for minimum 1 year
* Food Safety Level 2
