Availability
Availability Window: Days and times across the week. Typical patterns include Sun 20:00–24:00, Mon 18:00–24:00, Tue 18:00–24:00, Fri 18:00–24:00. You will be scheduled to work within these times and will have 3 weeks’ notice of exact shifts. We support flexible working; if your available times closely match but are not exact, we would still love to hear from you.

Pay and hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, but opportunities to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) are also available.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Apply training to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
* Make decisions right for customers and deliver store routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and your role in driving service, sales, waste reduction and profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Represent the Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
* Occasionally assist with deliveries into the store.
