Temporary Event Manager for 6 months - joining small team at this iconic London charity - £22-24 per hour.
This is a varied and exciting role for a candidate with prior experience in events development / project management (3 years minimum).
You will assist the Head of Events in creating strategies and commercial tenders for major public events, working in a small events team as well as with other departments across the organisation.
The role will involve:
* Assisting in creating vision statements, strategies and commercial tenders
* Preparing and maintaining complex project plans and documents
* Supporting the preparation of tender documents to procure new contracts for major events
* Managing the whole tendering process and evaluation together with in-house Procurement team
* Conducting market research
* Working together with the Finance department to model and evaluate options for event tenders
* Preparing weekly updates and monthly project progress reports for senior management
* Reviewing and updating event contracts
This client would like a candidate with prior events and project management experience, who has worked on developing major commercial tenders. You will be organised, energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills as well as being commercially astute.
To start asap, £22-24 per hour paid weekly as a temp, but the role will be for 6 months.
Hybrid role with up to 2 days working from home, some flexibility required depending on event needs, office is based in Central London.
