Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting the Sales team through lead generation, customer engagement, and sales operations activities. This role is initially focused on our Unmanned Systems datalink market. Based in the Whiteley office, you will manage both inbound enquiries and proactive outbound outreach, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities.
This is a highly interactive role where you will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position involves identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and supporting the sales process from initial contact through to opportunity development.
The role offers the opportunity to develop strong commercial and technical awareness, while contributing directly to sales growth through a mix of relationship building, CRM management, and campaign execution. There is excellent potential for forward career progression to Sales Account Manager within the team for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and customer‑focused sales professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to lead generation. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, you will be confident engaging with customers over the phone and through digital channels, while maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will bring a positive, coachable attitude and a willingness to learn, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to team success. An interest in technology and the ability to quickly understand customer requirements will be key to identifying and developing sales opportunities.
