Job Description: Remote role - Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential
An innovative Energy organisation in the United Kingdom are seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to come on board to champion overseeing all aspects of the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilites
Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements
Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives
Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions
Manage energy infrastructure projects
Expand and develop the energy team
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Senior, Lead, Principal or Head of positions
Strong background in Energy, Sustainability, Transport, Supply or a similar field
Vast experience developing company wide strategies and approaches to projects
Experience working with local authorities and organisations responsible for transport, energy and infrastructure
Experience leading a team and mentioring colleagues
UK Citizen without the need for sponsorship or Visas
Fluent English both verbal and written
