Chef De Partie | Mainly Monday to Friday


Banbury


Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 per week

A co-educational independent day and boarding school in Banbury, Oxfordshire, catering for 500 students and teachers daily. We offer breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, after school club, and supper. The role includes some hospitality daily, working over 52 weeks in a mainly Monday to Friday schedule with some weekend work. Benefits include free on-site parking.

We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Banbury.

Applicants should have previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level, with a passion for working with fresh seasonal ingredients and creating bespoke menus. Creativity and skill showcase opportunities are available.

Key responsibilities:

* Collaborate effectively within a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and staff.
* Prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients, adhering to company standards.
* Maintain food standards and control wastage.
* Follow all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures.

Desired skills:

* Genuine interest in food and customer service.
* Strong team player with innovation and passion for quality food.
* Organized with attention to detail.
* Understanding of food cost and wastage management.
* Good verbal and written English skills.
* Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is preferred.
