Quality Control Inspector Bridgwater, Somerset Permanent | Full-Time Competitive salary flexible hours We are looking for a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join a team in a reamed precision company and help maintain the high standards our customers expect. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, collaboration, and problem-solving are essential. Key Responsibilities Perform 1st off, patrol, interim, and final inspections. Operate and program CMM and metrology equipment. Complete First Article Inspections (AS9102), PPAP, and ISIR documentation. Inspect externally sourced parts and materials. Investigate rejects and contribute to root cause analysis (RCCA/NCR). Use SFDC system to log work, parts, and scrap. Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality matters when required. Assist with internal auditing and contract review (training provided). What We're Looking For Experience in a precision machining quality/inspection environment. Strong understanding of geometric tolerance and engineering drawings. Proficient in using CMM and other metrology tools. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Good problem-solving and time management skills. Computer literate and comfortable with digital logging systems. Full UK driving licence. A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn. Desirable Internal auditing experience or qualification (training available). Experience in aerospace or similarly regulated industries.
