This is an excellent next step in your finance career if you're looking to join an organisation where you can grow and develop. The role is open to part-qualified and finalist-level candidates with experience in year-end accounting, US GAAP, and the banking sector. This is a permanent position based in London, offering a salary between £50,000 – £58,000, with a hybrid working pattern of 4 days per week in the office after probation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly financial reporting packs and support financial reporting under the guidance of the Assistant Head of Accounts
* Manage the accruals and prepayments process, as well as support the CAPEX reporting
* Perform and oversee reconciliations of Nostro accounts
* Support the end-to-end audit process
* Maintain and improve finance procedures, ensuring all information is accurate
* Produce relevant reports in accordance with US GAAP standards
Candidate Specification:
* Actively Studying or Part Qualified -(ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent
* Good understanding and previous experience of working under US GAAP.
* Some experience supervising junior staff would be beneficial but not necessary
* Previous experience working within a banking environment is desirable
