An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a progressive, patient-focused GP practice located in Nottingham. The clinical team consists of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and administrative staff who work closely together to meet the health needs of the local community. Key Responsibilities:
* Independently assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.
* Managing acute, minor illness, and long-term conditions within the scope of advanced practice.
* Prescribing medications safely, appropriately, and in line with current legislation.
* Ordering, interpreting, and acting upon diagnostic tests such as blood tests, x-rays, and ECGs.
* Undertaking health promotion and disease prevention activities.
* Supporting the delivery of QOF, Enhanced Services, and national/local health initiatives.
* Working closely with the wider clinical and administrative team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
* Participating in clinical audits, safeguarding processes, and contributing to service development.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with MSc level training or equivalent qualifications.
* Registered with the NMC, with Independent Prescribing (V300) qualification.
* Proven experience working in a Primary Care or urgent care environment.
* Confident in autonomous clinical decision-making and managing complex patient presentations.
* Skilled in chronic disease management, minor illness management, and health promotion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
* Passionate about delivering high-quality care and committed to ongoing professional development.
