Head Chef £30-33k
Along with the owner will be required to source and manage local suppliers, and then develop and test new recipes by monitoring the quality of food in relation to the company's standards.
Our Head Chef is an integral part of the kitchen team, and he or she must be capable of delegating tasks to staff. This person must also possess a highly flexible personality, with the ability to oversee both the front and back of house, as well as perform other tasks as needed. The opportunity to grow and develop as a chef in their own right with work outside the cafe if wanted. Also create a career and shape the direction of the business.
* Execute dishes according to the style and recipes of the restaurant.
* Prepare new dishes using familiar ingredients in innovative ways.
* Respond to customer needs and requests.
* Use cooking techniques that satisfy company standards.
* BOH rota.
* Be mindful of costs & overheads
* Creative dishes - daily/weekly changing menus
* Analyse the preferences of customers and respond by designing new dishes, presentations, and menus.
* Training of kitchen staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
