Enterprise Account Manager – French/German Speaker

The Work You’ll Do

The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for reviewing contracts and managing areas where clients may need to increase their usage rate of Sovos compliance products. This involves driving contract reviews, use‑case discussions and determining the need for compliance conversations. You will develop and manage a well‑rounded sales engagement strategy, including prospecting and a customer‑centric sales process, and identify opportunities for teaching and thought leadership.


More Specifically You Will

* Effectively review and value Sovos SaaS‑based products and services for current accounts
* Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, achieving account contract management business growth
* Deliver profitable new agreements within current business while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quotas, and be able to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly
* Build a year‑over‑year track record of consistent performance using multiple contract‑management approaches and managing complex agreements in large enterprises
* Provide accurate and detailed sales data in Salesforce.com
* Act with integrity, demonstrating ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
* Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
* Show initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth
* Maintain high energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action
* Demonstrate high self‑awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
* Communicate value in a sales cycle and set correct expectations for implementation and use of product


What We Need From You

* 2+ years of account management and quota‑carrying sales experience (B2B preferred but not required)
* Consistently met or exceeded annual quota for at least two years
* Knowledge of SaaS solutions and environments preferred
* Track record of growing and retaining a book of business while exceeding quota targets
* Ability to present value‑based, consultative agreements by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a long‑term relationship
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including during difficult conversations
* Experience working with procurement, legal and renewal negotiations


Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

* Position requires minimal (less than 25%) travel, domestic and international
* Utilize technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware and software) to fulfill work requirements
* Pass background/drug check
* Effective phone communication and following verbal and written instructions
* Self‑motivated, team player with drive to exceed targets and personal integrity
* Project a positive, professional image to internal and external customers
* Mentor broader sales team, sharing best practices and messaging
* Make decisions that benefit business, client and salesperson
* Maintain cross‑functional partnerships to manage territory
* Leverage external partners and client stakeholders to share intelligence, solve challenges and accelerate time to close when appropriate
* Represent Sovos at client events when opportunities arise
