Salary: Up to £65,000 + £4,000 Car Allowance + 10% Discretionary Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a MRICS Building Surveyor to join a highly regarded international property consultancy within their established Building Consultancy team in London.
This role will suit a Senior Surveyor (or Surveyor looking to step up) with strong experience in commercial dilapidations and professional instructions, seeking exposure to a wide range of investor and corporate occupier clients across the UK and EMEA. Projects range from individual assets through to large portfolio and platform instructions.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering commercially focused professional building surveying services across a varied client base. Key areas of work will include:
* Lead Consultancy & Contract Administration
* Preparation and negotiation of Schedules of Dilapidations (Landlord & Tenant)
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
* Refurbishment and maintenance advice
* Defect diagnosis and technical reporting
* Commercial advice to investor and occupier clients
You will manage client relationships and project teams, ensuring successful delivery of building surveying instructions across professional workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver professional building consultancy advice across dilapidations and contract administration instructions
* Manage projects from inception through to completion
* Prepare and negotiate dilapidations claims on behalf of landlords or tenants
* Undertake building surveys for investment and occupational purposes
* Prepare PPM schedules and refurbishment advice
* Provide commercially focused defect analysis
* Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment
* Support business development and client relationship growth
* Contribute positively to team objectives and wider business plans
Requirements
* MRICS qualified
* Experience delivering dilapidations instructions on commercial assets
* Experience acting in Lead Consultant / Contract Administrator capacity
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
* Experience working within multi-disciplinary project teams
* Full UK driving licence
