Pure are pleased to be supporting a growing ecommerce business with the recruitment of an Operations + Executive Assistant. This is an entry-to-mid level operations role supporting the day-to-day execution and organisation of the business. You’ll work closely with the founder, owning core operational processes while helping bring structure, visibility, and consistency to how the business runs.
This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and keen to grow into increased responsibility over time.
You’ll work directly with the founder and gain exposure to how a growing ecommerce business is run.
Your work will directly impact customer experience, stock availability, and operational performance.
There is clear scope for increased responsibility as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Keeping Operations Running Smoothly
You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational flow of the business. This includes ensuring customer orders, supplier logistics, and work-in-progress are accurately tracked, issues are identified early, and nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll help maintain visibility over supplier payments and returns, supporting cashflow and customer experience.
Inventory, Stock & Marketplace Coordination
You will help maintain accurate stock and inventory records across all sales channels, with a particular focus on Amazon. You’ll monitor stock levels, flag upcoming reorders, coordinate inventory deliveries, and ensure marketplace data is accurate and up to date.
Fulfilment & Logistics Improvement
In the short term, you’ll support in-house order fulfilment across multiple sales channels. Longer term, you’ll play an active role in researching, evaluating, and supporting the transition to a third-party logistics partner, helping reduce fulfilment strain as the business grows.
Reporting, Visibility & Business Rhythm
You will build and maintain weekly Excel-based sales reports and update the business dashboard / scorecard. Your role is not just to report numbers, but to help highlight trends, exceptions, and operational issues so they can be reviewed with the founder and addressed quickly.
Product & Supplier Coordination
You will help track and coordinate new product requirements, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep design, compliance, and technical requirements moving forward in a structured way.
Admin, Projects & Support
You will provide operational and administrative support across the business, including coordinating trade fairs, travel, meetings, and other ad hoc projects as required.
