The Role
As an Advertising Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue across a portfolio of print and digital business publications. You will work closely with senior decision-makers, delivering creative and commercially effective advertising solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and growing advertising revenue across print and digital publications
- Selling advertising space and editorial features across regional titles
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business clients
- Identifying and securing new advertising opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
- Working with editorial and production teams to deliver campaigns
- Researching market trends and business developments to identify leads
- Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets
- Maintaining accurate records of client activity and pipeline
Requirements
- Proven experience in advertising, media, or B2B sales
- Strong commercial awareness and target‑driven mindset
- Confident communicator, able to engage senior decision‑makers
- Organised and able to manage a busy sales pipeline
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment
Desirable
- Experience in publishing, magazines, or newspaper advertising
- Experience managing editorial‑led or feature‑based campaigns
