The Vacancy

Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity:

We’re looking for a Third-party Risk Specialist to join our Procurement and Vendor Management team within the Chief Operations Office. Reporting to the Procurement Excellence Manager, you’ll play a key role in embedding and maturing our Third-party Risk Management framework, ensuring regulatory compliance (including SS2/21) while driving process improvement and value for money. You’ll develop and maintain supplier oversight, deliver insights on risk, performance and expenditure, and help optimise procurement policies, processes and systems to support safe, effective and continuously improving supplier management across the Group.

What will your day look like?

1. Work alongside operational stakeholders to govern and oversee suppliers at a proportionate and appropriate level, in accordance with the Third-party Risk Management framework and regulatory expectations
2. Support the Group to develop and improve the Third-party Risk Management framework, providing technical support and insight
3. Ensure supplier due diligence is completed in line with the Third-party Risk management framework. Any issues and risks are assessed and reported upon to business stakeholders
4. Support the evaluation of Third-party relationships through ongoing risk analysis and due-diligence activities
5. Support the Group develop and improve the Third-party Risk Management framework, providing technical support and insight.
6. Ensure Supplier records are adequately maintained in line with Regulatory expectations

What do we expect from you?

7. Proven experience in Third-party Risk Management and/or Supplier/Vendor Management (financial services and regulatory knowledge desirable).
8. Strong understanding of the supplier lifecycle, due diligence, compliance, audit processes, and risk/issue analysis.
9. Skilled in policy and process design/documentation, with high attention to detail.
10. Confident in data analysis, reporting and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
11. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
12. Proactive, self-motivated and creative, with a track record of delivering supplier-focused initiatives and continuous improvement.
