Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor or qualified Teacher looking for flexible work in a supportive secondary school?
We’re currently recruiting for day-to-day and short-term supply cover at a welcoming, high-achieving school in the Royston area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of subjects, gain valuable experience, and enjoy a great work-life balance.
As a Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher, you’ll:
Supervise classes during teacher absences and deliver pre-prepared lessons
Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
Support students to stay engaged and on task
Work flexibly across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of subjects
Be available for short-notice and pre-booked cover days
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an experienced Cover Supervisor with classroom experience
Confident managing groups of students independently
Flexible, reliable and ready to work at short notice
Passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development
Able to travel to schools in and around South Cambridgeshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
