The Role
This is a fast-paced position requiring accuracy, efficiency, and strong follow-through.
You will oversee and manage administrative operations across development, finance, and sales - ensuring projects move quickly and smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
General Administration & Document Control
* Maintain and organise all construction and development documentation
* Manage drawing revisions and version control
* Distribute project updates to stakeholders
* Assist with tender preparation
* Ensure legal documentation is securely dispatched and tracked
Planning & Project Coordination
* Chase planning conditions and ensure compliance deadlines are met
* Source materials cost-effectively for construction projects
* Manage trade supplier accounts
* Liaise with finance to ensure smooth invoice processing
* Support business development research
Financial Oversight
* Prepare and manage weekly payment runs
* Monitor cash flow and flag upcoming liabilities
* Maintain accurate supplier account records
* Support invoice reconciliation and tracking
* Protect company cash flow by avoiding unnecessary early payments
Sales Progression
* Progress property sales from offer to exchange and completion
* Liaise confidently with solicitors, buyers, and agents
* Maintain accurate running sales files
* Provide consistent updates to all stakeholders
* Apply persistence and control to ensure exchange deadlines are achieved
Who We're Looking For
This role would suit a mature, highly organised professional who:
Has at least 1 year experience in Property Progression or Property Legal (required)
Has experience in estate agency, development, or property administration
Is exceptionally organised and detail-focused
Works quickly without sacrificing accuracy
Has strong commercial awareness
Is confident communicating with solicitors and professionals
Can manage multiple deadlines calmly
Takes ownership rather than waiting for instruction
Enjoys creating and adhering to their own to do list, structure, systems, and efficiency
You must have:
* A car and valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Right to work in the UK
* Ability to work in person in Orpington (BR6)
