The team is led by partner, Guy Sackett, and specializes in a wide range of Real Estate work, primarily focused on residential-led development with a focus on strategic land development projects. The team also handles commercial development projects, regeneration, and investment/asset management work for national companies, regional property firms, and owner/occupier clients. Additionally, the team advises on niche natural capital projects in biodiversity net gain, water neutrality, and nutrient neutrality, providing offsite solutions to facilitate residential developments. They also manage both contentious and non-contentious agricultural matters.
Recent Activities include:
* Advising a national land promoter on strategic land promotion agreements nationwide;
* Promoting a 250+ acre site in Sussex for up to 1,500 residential units, including education, leisure, and care facilities;
* Representing habitat bank operators and mitigation providers on conservation covenants and natural capital projects;
* Advising owner/occupier clients on asset management, portfolio expansion, estate restructuring, and refinancing;
* Supporting Further Education Colleges on campus issues like leases, charges, sales, and redevelopment;
* Advising on the acquisition and development of a mixed-use site in Leicester valued at approximately £50m, including offices, residential, hotel, student accommodation, and retail space.
About You

The role requires strong organizational skills and pragmatic working approach.
You will participate in practice development initiatives, seek business development opportunities, and stay updated on relevant legal and industry changes. Being an exceptional team player who collaborates effectively to deliver optimal client outcomes and supports team development is essential.
What we need from you:
* A genuine enthusiasm for this area of law and a dedication to achieving the best client outcomes under pressure;
* The confidence to start contributing immediately;
* Experience in residential or commercial development matters or general commercial property transactions;
* Ideally, 2-4 years PQE.
